Managing Director for Europe Roi Lavi attended EFPA’s Finance Forum in Luxembourg on 19 March 2024 and participated in a panel that discussed digital KYC and how AI can empower compliance professionals.
During the panel discussion and the event, Roi highlighted how, as part of due diligence investigations, Sqope Intelligence leverages sophisticated tools while also recognizing that they are not infallible and should be balanced with human analysis and oversight. Indeed, Roi discussed how clear objectives should be defined when integrating AI into KYC while also continuing to remain vigilant about regulatory compliance, data protection, and confidentiality and ensuring that robust IT security measures are implemented.
